Four members of The Lipatist community completed the Epic Ride 2025 on TAKACHIA Tiime Series trifold bikes — a challenging cross-border journey from Kangar (Malaysia) to Hat Yai (Thailand) on Day 1, and back to Kangar on Day 2.
Covering a total of 155 KM within 2 days, through heavy rain and less-than-ideal road conditions, these TAKACHIA Tiime Series riders pushed through with resilience and strength.
While many cyclists from Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia took part in this unforgettable ride, it was these four TAKACHIA riders who stood out — showing that the Tiime Series isn't just built for daily commutes, but for endurance, adventure, and real performance.

Day 1: The Ride to Hatyai – 80km of Scenic Endurance
The journey kicked off from TokMek Motel in Kangar, heading towards the Thailand border at 26 km, with a quick rest stop at Sanan Lantong Resort around the 45 km mark. Spirits were high as the group pushed on to complete the final stretch, arriving at Sakura Hotel in Hatyai after 80 km of scenic roads, cross-border camaraderie, and smooth performance.
Day 2: Rain, Rolling Hills, and the Dragonback Challenge
On the return ride to Kangar (75km), the weather turned quickly — rain began just 5km into the ride, soaking riders and roads alike. But the real challenge came in the second half of the route: the infamous “dragonback” hills from Sadao to Padang Besar.
This section of the journey is named for its series of steep, rolling hills that rise and fall like a dragon’s spine. Short but relentless climbs demand power, technique, and endurance. The slippery conditions made every ascent tougher and every descent riskier — a real test of both rider and machine.
