The idea of touring Korea on folding bikes turned out to be absolutely spot on. We rode about 750 km with luggage, mostly on asphalt, as TAKACHIA TIME Series bike routes in Korea are very well-prepared. Riding these bikes have been a lot of fun, and they'll definitely stay with us for the long run.

When folded, TIME Series is compact enough to be transported by plane, train, or bus as regular luggage, without any extra fees. In fact, they survived four flights with just a nylon transport bag — very sturdy! The wheels made it easy to mount 10-liter panniers on the rear rack, which wouldn’t have been possible with a 16" tranditional trifold bike without extra modifications. The external 9-speed gear system also came in very handy during our trip, especially when climbing 100-meter hills with 6–10% gradients multiple times a day.

In my opinion, TAKACHIA TIIME Series are perfect for both long-distance travel and city riding.

I purchased the TAKACHIA TIIME SERIES A20 online and had it shipped overseas to France. I use the bike for both commuting and traveling—it’s versatile. I typically ride 20–30 minutes to work. Sometimes, I take the bike into the métro with me. It handles this routine smoothly. It's especially helpful when public transport is down. When I travel, I often fold the bike and take it with me on trains as luggage. It allows me to start exploring immediately upon arrival. The 9-speed gearing also makes it easier to ride, even on slopes or going up and down. One particularly memorable moment was cycling around Lake Annecy—such a stunning experience. The photo was taken there.

A year on and I'm still head over heels for my TAKACHIA C20 trifold bicycle! It's the perfect combo of comfort and style, even when I'm tackling those super long distance rides like 50km.

I was on a trip to Singapore last year from Canada and was in the market to replace my Te** foldie.

I am glad I found a local bike shop, I met Henry when I visited the store, he was friendly and professional answering questions and listening to all my requirements. Henry recommended me TAKACHIA TIIME Series Trifold Bike. After explaining and showing me the features of the TAKACHIA TIIME Series C20, I took it out for a test ride and instantly fell in love with the bike. The bike was easy to put together, road smooth and rigid with no flexing.

Best feature was it packs down to a smaller size then my Te** and can be easily transported by pushing it around as opposed to carry it. I have had the bike for over a year and toured the circumference of Shikoku Island in Japan. Will be doing another Japan tour this year riding Kyushu Island. I am so thankful that I stumbled upon TAKACHIA.

I purchased a TAKACHIA A20 aluminum trifold, to be shipped overseas to the USA. The bike arrived within a month — it was well-packed with no shipping damage.

The A20 is a fantastic trifold bicycle. It rides comfortably and weighs only 22 lbs with 20" wheels — much lighter than other competitors. I also own other bifold and trifold bikes, but I’m especially looking forward to riding the A20 on my next bike tour. I'm really liking the way the A20 rides!!

We went to Shimanami cycling route in Japan with TAKACHIA A16 bike. This bicycle is totally female rider–friendly. Its lightweight frame makes it ideal for international travel—whether you're taking it on a plane, train, or bus, it's easy to carry. It also features gears that are well-suited for climbing hills, making uphill rides more manageable for women.

This product is highly recommended for those who love to travel. It's easy to ride and convenient to bring along.

This TAKACHIA K1 SERIES 14” bike has been perfect for our boy. The magnesium alloy frame makes it super easy for them to ride and handle on their own. It’s really boosted their confidence!

I’ve been eyeing this brand for a long time and finally ordered the TAKACHIA TIIME SERIES A20 from Singapore. As an existing trifold bike user with a Korean Ace***, I noticed TAKACHIA’s quality is far superior. I’ve heard about this brand for a long time, especially since their trifold bikes are very well-known here. However, I decided to get this 18" bike for my daughter. Although this bike is non-foldable, it’s light enough for me to carry around. Most importantly, it’s sturdy and safe, very solidly built. It won’t rust, so I don’t have to worry about sharp edges or safety issues.
