When folded, TAKACHIA TIIME SERIES is compact enough to be transported by plane, train, or bus as regular luggage, without any extra fees. In fact, they survived four flights with just a nylon transport bag — very sturdy! The wheels made it easy to mount 10-liter panniers on the rear rack, which wouldn’t have been possible with a 16" traditional folding bike from a well‑known brand without extra modifications. The external 9-speed gear system also came in very handy during our trip, especially when climbing 100-meter hills with 6–10% gradients multiple times a day.
