Thank you for being a part of the TAKACHIA community. We hope you thoroughly enjoy your new bicycle or accessory! We're confident in the quality and design of our products. Nonetheless, we understand that sometimes a product may not perfectly meet everyone's individual needs or preferences. To ensure a smooth experience, please take a moment to review our return guidelines below.

Return Window

Return requests must be submitted within 14 days from the date you receive your item. All requests are subject to approval.

Conditions for Eligible Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item(s) must be unused, unmounted, and unridden, and in the same condition that you received them. The product must also be in its original packaging, including all boxes, manuals, accessories, and any included promotional items. Returns that do not meet these conditions will not be accepted and will not be eligible for a refund.

A valid proof of purchase (receipt or invoice) is required to process any refund request. Requests submitted without proof of purchase will not be reviewed or processed. 

Buyer's Responsibility for Fees (If Return Is Approved)

If your return request is approved, you will be responsible for the following fees:

  • Two-way shipping fees: This includes the original shipping cost and the cost of returning the item to us, along with any applicable taxes.

  • Restocking fee: A 15% restocking fee will be applied, calculated based on the original product price.

  • Original transaction fees: Any payment gateway or platform fees incurred during the original transaction may also be deducted from the refund.

Refund Process

Once your returned item(s) are received and thoroughly inspected to ensure they meet our eligibility criteria, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, the refund will be issued to your original method of payment, minus any applicable fees listed above.

Please allow up to 14 business days for us to process your refund after approval.

Depending on your payment provider, it may take up to 30 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

In the unlikely event that the process takes longer than the standard timeframe, we will provide you with an interim update.

How to Submit a Return Request

To ensure efficient and accurate handling, all return requests should be submitted through the dealer or original point of purchase. Please note that returns are also subject to the terms and conditions of the dealer or original point of purchase. 

If the dealer is unreachable, you may contact TAKACHIA directly at info@takachia.com. Please include the following in your request:

  • Order number

  • Copy of your receipt or invoice

  • Item(s) you wish to return

  • Reason for return

Once we receive your request, our team will review it and provide further instructions.

Late Returns or Items Not in Original Condition

We may, at our discretion, refuse returns in the following situations:

  • The item is not in its original condition, is damaged, or has missing parts (not due to our error)

  • The return request is initiated more than 14 days after delivery (requests received after this period will not be accepted).

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item upon arrival, please contact your respective dealer immediately within 24 hours of delivery with clear photos or videos of the issue and the packaging. We will assess the situation and provide an appropriate solution, which may include a replacement, repair, or a full refund (including original shipping costs) at our discretion.

Clearance Items

All items in the "Clearance" section are sold as final sale and are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds. Please note that clearance items may have minor cosmetic imperfections, which are reflected in the reduced pricing. By purchasing these items, you accept them in their current condition.
